Commuting with Purpose on Ride to Work Day
Patrick King believed the ride wasn’t just for weekends or wide-open highways. It was for every day, every moment you needed clarity, calm, or a little more control over your own pace. That’s why Ride to Work Day just makes sense. It’s about showing the world that motorcycles aren’t just a passion—they’re practical, peaceful, and powerful.
Held every year on the second Tuesday of June—in 2025, that’s June 10—Ride to Work Day encourages riders everywhere to commute by motorcycle. Not to make noise, but to make a point: that two wheels can offer more than fuel savings or parking advantages. They offer freedom, focus, and a better way forward.
Patrick discovered that peace for himself after a rough patch, when a trip to Florida and a nudge from a good friend led him to the MSF course. His first ride came on a Honda Shadow, a gift from his partner, Rebecca, who could no longer ride after her cancer diagnosis. That ride turned into a lifestyle. A love. A calling.
Ride Like King isn’t just a campaign—it’s a mindset. It’s riding with intention, every day. Whether you’re heading to work, clearing your head, or just needing that feeling only the road can give, you’re part of the legacy.
How to Ride Like King on Ride to Work Day:
- Gear Up: Check your bike, wear what matters, and ride with pride.
- Plan the Route: Keep it safe, scenic if you can, and stay present.
- Share the Ride: Post a photo, tell a story, or tag #RideLikeKing. Every mile tells his story, and now—yours.
And remember—when you ride in King Motorculture gear, you’re doing more than representing a brand. You’re helping fund the Patrick King Art Student Scholarship, supporting young creators on their own journeys.
So this Ride to Work Day, take the long way in. Do it for peace. For purpose. For Patrick.
Ride safe. Ride proud. Ride like King.
